Nokia 6.2 with 6.2 Inch Display, Snapdragon 632 SoC & 16 MP Dual Rear Zeiss Camera’s Specs Leaked

The Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) is one of the biggest events in the mobile industry and every smartphone manufacturer is rushing to launch their next wave of smartphones. HMD Global, the company which brought back life in Nokia brand is rushing for the MWC 2019 product showcase.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer is planning to launch Nokia 6.1 successor and chances are that it will be called as Nokia 6.2. Now we a Twitter leakster claiming the major specifications of the device.

A Twitter user with username @LeaksNokia says that the upcoming Nokia 6.2 smartphone will be sporting a 6.2 inch display with camera hole-punch display in it. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 Mobile Platform out of the box with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM.

In terms of camera, it sports a 16 mega pixel dual camera with Zeiss Camera lens and that’s the major highlights of this device. Further this upcoming Nokia smartphone has Nokia’s proprietary OZO Audio on board too.

According to the leakster, the device will be launched in the month of January or February in China, thereafter in Europe and worldwide shorter after. Most probably this smartphone will be a part of HMD’s product showcase at Nokia booth at Mobile World Congress.

HMD Global has set the trends of bringing the software update to almost all the devices that they have launched until now. Infact, it’s the only brand that has promised Android Pie upgrade to a half- a dozen smartphones and by the first half of 2019, they might continue to do so for the other Nokia smartphones.

The news that the Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 5 will receive the Pie treatment by the end of the week. HMD Global‘s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas through his Twitter account confirmed this news. Once the update for these devices is done, the next in the pipeline is the Nokia 6, the first Nokia Android smartphone that was unveiled in January 2017. There is also Nokia 3 in contention for the Pie upgrade.

Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 5 Pie update will be rolled out via over the Air (OTA) download globally. The company will be sending you an update notification when the updates are available in your region/country.

The company also unveiled a roadmap to Android Pie upgrade for the remaining smartphones. It will continue to do so for upcoming smartphones like Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 8.2 as well.
