Nokia 8.1 Android Q Beta 5 is now available for Download

Android Q is still to get a name as the developer previews are denying it from happening. After Android Q beta 4, it’s the final Android Q beta 5 is now available for qualifying devices. For the Nokia fans, there is a piece of good news that Nokia 8.1 Android Q Beta 5 is now available for download.

Juho Sarvikas Chief Product Officer at HMD Global revealed this news of information of Nokia 8.1 Android Q beta 5 update availability via his Twitter handle.

Among the prominent features included in the Android Q beta 5 update are the just a swipe from either of the bottom corners of the device will bring the Google Assistant.

Here is what he tweeted –

Sadly this update is not been rolled out via over the air update. You need to manually update the device to this firmware. This update is been rolled out to the phone models with model numbers TA-1119, TA-1121, and TA-1128.

  • You need to visit the Nokia Android developer preview program on Nokia.com/Phones here.
  • Sign using your Facebook/Google account logins.
  • Now enter your mobile phone details and click on register.
